#Exclusive Villa in Canggu | 5-BR | 3 min to beach

Not recommended. Negative: The villa was quite 'tired' and wasn't overly secure - there was no lock on the front gate, only one on the glass paned front door. However, the biggest issue was discovering on the first night that the hostel next door had a live band performing, with the noise carrying over to our villa. We spoke to the hostel the following morning and they advised us that this was something they did every night. We then spoke to the property owner regarding this being a) unknown to us at the time of booking and b) a problem for our family. We mutually agreed that we would find alternative accommodation and that they would provide us a refund for the for the remaining nights we had booked and paid for. They advised us that as payment was made via booking.com that the platform would facilitate the refund and to contact them to action that. We did this, and were advised by the platform that the property owner had refused to deliver the refund. A disappointing and costly outcome to say the least. So if you like listing to a very loud live band while trying to go to sleep, this is the place for you. If you don't, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

It was a holiday for our family of mixed ages but the week couldn’t have gone any better. The Balinese people are so fri Positive: The position of the villa in Canggu was perfect for us- although there was music from the hostel next door this always finished at around 11pm which was good and although central there was not loads of other noise. The villa outdoor area was secluded with a gorgeous pool and lots of greenery offering shaded areas out of the sun. We felt very safe in the villa and it was a great place to unwind- just wha you need from a holiday destination Negative: It sounds cliche but there was really nothing not to like about the villa. You could eat at the dining table on the ground floor but we always loved to eat semi alfresco on the first floor.

Overall great location in the heart of Canggu and very nice villa Positive: The location is great and the pool is very nice. The bedrooms are all a great size, dark and have an en-suite. The staff are great and clean a lot. There are a few lounge areas but we didn’t really use them Negative: It’s a bit noisy and the bar next door plays loud music until about 11pm (sometimes midnight) making it hard to sleep before then. Some of the rooms are closer to the road so a bit noisier too, and you can hear road noise from the villa (though not a bother really) and makes sense given the location
